The project is a web-based platform designed to identify phishing links, enhance cybersecurity awareness, and track security habits. It aims to educate users on cybersecurity risks while providing real-time phishing detection through the Google Safe Browsing API. Key features of the platform include a phishing link scanner that detects malicious URLs using threat databases like Google Safe Browsing, user authentication with secure login and signup functionality using JWT (JSON Web Token), a security dashboard that displays scanned history, security scores, and insights, and an intuitive user interface built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for a seamless user experience.
